BEA Scholarship Registration 2024/2025 Form Portal. Are you interested in taking part in the Bilateral Education Agreement (BEA) Registration 2024/2025? If yes, then you’re on the right page, as we are going to provide adequate information on this page to aid readers in being adequately prepared for the next exercise. The BEA Scholarship Registration has different categories, namely undergraduates, postgraduates, and masters, to mention a few.

The portal for the registration exercise is live now as we speak; however, it will be active only when the BEA Scholarship Registration 2024 is about to commence. A new portal that is yet to be verified was introduced during the 2024 Bilateral Education Agreement (BEA) exercise and it’s open to those who meet the requirements, which would be outlined right on this page.

The Honourable Minister of Education (HME), Prof. Tahir Mamman OON, SAN, hereby invites interested and qualified Nigerians to participate in the 2024-2025 Federal Government Scholarship Awards for:

  BILATERAL EDUCATION AGREEMENT (BEA) Scholarship Registration 2024/2025 Form Portal

1. i) Undergraduate (UG) studies tenable in Russia, Morocco, Hungary, Egypt, and Algeria; 

1. ii) Postgraduate (PG) studies tenable in Russia (for those whose first degrees were obtained from Russia), China, Hungary, Serbia, and Romania

2.0 All qualified candidates are advised to:

1. Visit the Federal Ministry of Education’s website www.education.gov.ngand click on the Federal Scholarship Board icon on the home page.
2. Read the guidelines, and then Complete the Application Form online
3. Print the completed Application Form

3.0 FIELDS OF STUDY

1. Undergraduate level: Engineering, Geology, Agriculture, Sciences, Mathematics,  Environmental Sciences, Sports, Law, Social Sciences, Biotechnology, Architecture, Medicine (very limited), Pilot Engineering, Neurologist and
2. postgraduate level (Masters Degree and PhD) in all fields.

4.0 CRITERIA FOR ELIGIBILITY

1. UNDERGRADUATE SCHOLARSHIPS: All applicants for undergraduate degree courses must possess a minimum qualification of seven (7) Distinctions (As & Bs) in the Senior Secondary School Certificates, WASSCE/WAEC (May/June), only in the subjects relevant to their fields of study, including English Language and Mathematics. Certificates should not be more than two (2) years old (2022 and 2023) for non-African countries, and for African countries, the age of the certificate is one year (2023) only. The age limit is from 17 to 20 years.
2. POSTGRADUATE SCHOLARSHIPS: All applicants for Postgraduate degree courses must hold a  First  Degree with 1st Class or at least 2nd Class Upper Division. 

All applicants must have completed the N.Y.S.C. Programme and the age limit is 35 years for Masters and 40 years for Ph.D. 

1. i) Y.S.C discharge or exemption certificates only are  accepted; and
2. ii)  Evidence of readiness to be released by an employer

GENERAL NOTE FOR ALL APPLICANTS:

(i)     Since the BEA countries are non-English speaking, applicants should be prepared to undertake a mandatory one-year foreign Language course of the Country of choice which will be the standard medium of instruction; 

(ii)     All applicants for the Hungarian Scholarship can apply for up to two fields of study in order of preference and must visit the website:  www.stipendiumhungaricum.hu which was opened in November and will close on January 16, 2024.

• Complete the application form online.

(iii)  All applicants for Russia should visit the website http://education-in-russia.com which is open.

(iv)   All applicants for Russian Postgraduate Scholarship must have acquired their first Degree in Russia; 

(v)  All documents are to be uploaded on the Russian  Application portal and must be properly scanned in PDF format.

(vi) All Applicants to upload the following certificates online;

1.   UNDERGRADUATE (UG): WAEC/WASSCE & NIN Slip
2.  POSTGRADUATE (PG): 1st Degree Certificate, NIN Slip 

  & NYSC discharge or exemption Certificate.

NB: Candidates nominated by the Board will be required to submit to the Federal Scholarship Board the following:

1. Authenticated copies of academic certificates; 
2. Data page of the current International passport; 
3. Specified Medical Reports from Government hospitals;
4. Birth Certificate and Indigenous letter

1. v) A police clearance certificate, where necessary.

5.0 The application portal will open on November 25th, 2023, and close on January 5th, 2024.
