The Civil Defence, Correctional, Fire and Immigration Services Board (CDCFIB) is inviting applications from suitably qualified candidates for full-time appointments to fill existing vacancies in the following positions in the Federal Fire Service (FFS).
Category A: INSPECTORATE CADRE
Inspector Of Fire (IF) CONPASS 07 (Nursing)

Applicants must be Registered Nurses (RN), Registered Midwives (RM), Registered Nurses/Midwives (RNIM) obtained from recognized institutions
Assistant Inspector Of Fire (AIF), CONPASS 06
Applicants must be holders of NCE or National Diploma (ND) in any related field, obtained from any recognized Polytechnic/Institution.
Category B: ASSISTANT CADRE
Fire Assistant II (FA II) CONPASS 04
Applicants must be holders of GCE Ordinary level, SSCE/NECO or other equivalents with a maximum of five (5) credits in not more than two sittings, which should include English and Mathematics.
Fire Assistant III (FAIII), Appliance Driver (Specialist), CONPASS 03
Applicants must be holders of GCE Ordinary level, SSCE/NECO, or their equivalents with a minimum of five (5) credits in not more than two sittings which should include at least English and Mathematics. Applicants with Class E Driver’s Licenses is an added advantage
Federal Fire Service (FFS) Recruitment 2024 METHOD OF APPLICATION
Applications should be done online. Candidates are expected to log on to the portal https://cdcfib.career as of Wednesday, 27th December 2023, to fill and submit the application form online. Applicants are advised to print out the referee forms, which must be duly completed for submission during the screening exercise.
Candidates should NOTE that multiple applications will automatically be disqualified.
STATUTORY REQUIREMENTS FOR THE RECRUITMENT
Applicants must be Nigerians by birth;
Applicants must possess the requisite qualifications. Any certificate or qualification not presented and accepted at the recruitment center shall not be accepted after the recruitment.
Applicants must be fit and present certificates of medical fitness from Government recognized hospitals;
Applicants must be of good character and must not have been convicted of any criminal offences;
Interested applicants must not be members of the secret society, cults, drug addicts, etc
Applicants must not have been involved in any financial embarrassment
Applicants must be between the ages of 18 and 35.
The applicant’s height must not be less than 1.65m for males and 1.60m for females.
Applicants’ chest measurement must not be less than 0.87 for men;
Computer literacy will be an added advantage.

Requisite Requirements Needed To Be Eligible For FFS Recruitment
Below are some of the core requirements applicants are expected to possess to become eligible for the next recruitment exercise:
- Nationality: Applicants are expected to be citizens of Nigeria with a valid means of identification like a driver’s License, International Passport, and voter card.
- Age Requirement: Applicants are expected to be between the age of 18 and 28 meaning that you are ineligible to apply if you are less than 18 and more than 28.
- Height: The minimum height for male applicants is 1.67m while the minimum for female applicants is 1.64m.
- Chest Measurement: This is for male applicants only. All male applicants ought to have a minimum chest measurement of 0.86m.
- Educational Qualifications: Applicants ought to possess an Olevel(WASSCE/GCE/NECO/NABTEB) result with a minimum of five (5) credits in relevant subjects, including English and Mathematics.[The Olevel result take before 2014 will be rejected]

Federal Fire Service Training Exercise
