“I Make 150k A Day Washing Cars” – Nigerian Lady Stirs Controversy Online (Photos)
An anonymous Nigerian woman who goes by the name Anita has caused a stir on the internet after revealing the salary she receives from the company where she works as an employee at a car wash.
The young woman asserted that she earned N150,000 per day by washing customers' vehicles for them.
She made the announcement on her social media page in response to the complaints that Nigerians have been making about the lack of work opportunities in the country.
Even though she wasn't dressed in a way that suggested she worked at a car wash or wearing a uniform, Anita shared images of herself washing the tire of a parked car on her Instagram account. Quote from what she wrote: "A day of working at the car wash nets me 150 thousand dollars (lucrative business). Don't tell me there's nothing to do in Nigeria, okay? It is possible to generate job for oneself. "Don't be such a slacker!!!"
The assertion that she could make such a large sum of money by merely washing cars drew the ire of internet users, who claimed that it was implausible.
Read some of the responses here: princejuuu1 posed the question, "Which kind mumu lie," in his post. Teslim stated in his writing, "Well, that's not too much. My standard fee for recurring clients is $30,000. Eeniiikureee” Amani wrote that the following: "This one they wash hee papa car she say she they make 150k a day." Weldon ooo" Leave a Reply
